Parish Endowments
Over the years, our parish has been very blessed to receive many endowments to ensure the future of our parish for generations to come. Below is a list of the endowment funds of St. George Church.
21st Century Fund
Earnings to be used to offset Pastoral Assistant and Youth Ministry expenses. (Board restricted)Jeffrey L. Laham Memorial Fund
75% of earnings to be used each year for Youth Ministry expenses (donor restricted)
Rectory Fund
Use of the principal balance is restricted by the Parish. Earnings from the current year are available to be used to offset operational expenses. In 2007-2008, the earnings are used to offset the Pastor's housing expense. (Parish Restricted)
Michael Hamaty Humanitarian Fund
Earnings to provide assistance for incapacitated members of the Parish. (donor restricted)
Michael Hamaty Scholarship Fund
Earnings to provide scholarships to members of the Parish. (donor restricted)
Joseph A. Hadge Fund
Earnings to provide scholarships for seminarians from the Parish. (donor restricted)
Building Addition Fund
Funds used for new building project authorized by the Parish general assembly. (donor restricted)
Monsour & Nellie Laham Fund
Funds needed on a project basis. (donor restricted)
Church School Fund
75% of earnings used to offset Church School expenses. (donor restricted)
Antiochian Village Fund
75% of earnings used to offset camp expenses for campers from the Parish. (donor restricted)
Capital Improvement Fund
% of pledges set aside for maintenance (parish restricted)
