Resurrection, Spring, and New Life
Boris Pasternak ends his poem ‘Holy Week' with this image;

Saint of the Month - May 2008 - St. Brendan
16 May, St Brendan the Navigator, Abbot of Clonfert (~577)
Brendan the son of Findlugh was born in 484 at Tralee in Kerry, Ireland. As a child, he was educated by St. Deirdre, the abbess who was foster mother to several Irish saints.
